Benjamin Webb (otherwise Caywood) and George Ward guilty of breaking into the dwelling  house of Thomas Scarsbrook in the parish of Etnsham on 21st September 1783; and stealing therefrom 5 pieces of Dowlas measuring 27 yards (valued at 25/-), 4 pieces of linen measuring 20 yards (valued at 25/-), a piece of printed linen measuring 7 yards (valued at 12/-), 3 linen handkerchiefs (valued at 3/-), 2 cotton handkerchiefs (valued at 4/-) and 2 silk handkerchiefs (valued at 5/-).
